Its almost time to get the 2011 fishing season started!

Well we are still fighting a few cooler days of winter weather here and there but overall the Fraser valley has been fairly mild this year! We could do with a little less rain but i guess that is the trade off for having year round open water fishing opportunities! Steelhead fishing has been good for the past few weeks and we are seeing plenty of fish in the high teens both wild and hatchery! March is always a great time to get out on one of our walk and wade tutorials. We offer teaching guides for both gear and fly fishers.

Sturgeon fishing Charters have been limited lately due to weather and the well needed rest our guides have earned after an extremely busy 2010 fishing season. We have had a few boats out on the water this past week and although the fishing was not fast and furious the end result was a couple of beautiful fish up to 6 ft 10 inches. Every week now we will see an improvement in weather and with that will come charters and more frequent reports!
