I had forgotten about September during a pink salmon year. Honestly I am not sure if the memories from 2007, and 2009 were ever consolidated because it is a month where I don't sleep.
All I can really do is give you the last couple of weeks in pictures, and a very nice comment from a blog reader.
KEEP IN MIND- September is like one big day, I don't remember when the fish were caught... Sometime in recent memory. it could have been yesterday even?! Sometime in the last two weeks. There are some beauties!
Hi Ria, I had the opportunity of fishing with Tyler (Sept 7 & 8) as part of Bayer CropScience group. The salmon fishing wasn’t great but I realize we were between sockeye and pink runs. We still got a few pinks and the sturgeon fishing was great. What impressed me the most was that everyone in our group (3 Boats) was happy with their captain. Tyler showed a professional approach to what we wanted and was upbeat and positive through the whole day, no matter what rookie mistakes we made. Be thankful that you have good quality people in place because that is hard to find now adays. Thankyou again for a memorable experience and I hope to see you next year with my family.
