It's so hard to believe that it's December already, and 2013 is just around the corner. This year has been an interesting one for us full of ups and downs.
Fishing looked great through most of the summer, but then we never got the salmon returns this September that we were expecting. There were some great days, but overall fishing was tough this fall, as many of you know.
On the other hand we had some fantastic highlights. Ria from the office and one of our senior guides Chad were married this July (congratulations again!) in a backyard fiesta. We hosted our first annual Harrison Sturgeon Challenge, and handed out some pretty awesome prizes to some very determined anglers. Our guides also put their clients onto some pretty spectacular fish.
Each week, we will be posting some of our highlights from the year. To start off our countdown to the new year, here again is the largest fish caught on the Fraser in 2012:
Caught by Kimm Blaquiere, guided by Mike Neufeld, this leviathan measured 11'2". She was tagged for the first time, and safely released back to the River. This fish is so amazing, I just don't know what else to say about her that hasn't already been said. "Awesome", "huge" "spectacular" just don't seem to quite cut it.
