Just a quick fishing update today.
January fishing is almost over, and so far the year has started off well for Sturgeon anglers. Two of our 'regulars', Rob and Tanny, were out with us this past weekend and did quite well. Sunday they hooked into around six fish, and then had the same luck on Monday.
They had a few fish in the 6-foot-plus range, the largest fish of the trip was this lovely 210cm (approx 6'9") fish caught Monday:
This Saturday is supposed to be sunny, so if the winter weather has you intimidated that might be a good day to come out and challenge yourself with winter Sturgeon fishing!
