Yeah, you read that title right! We just had a 43 fish day on Saturday, February 2! A group of four set out from Mission for a 6 hour fishing day, and they hooked into 50 sturgeon, landing 43. I suppose with numbers like that, we can forgive them for missing 7 fish. The size range was quite varied, with some little guys coming in, as well as larger fish in the high 5 to almost-6 foot range.
Though I don't have any photos from that trip, I do have a shot of another great fish caught this week. This lovely fish taped out to 6'8":
It looks like it should continue to be a good spring, so call me to book a trip!
