It really and truly has been Beautiful BC here over the Easter weekend. Temperatures hit the 20s, and the sun hasn't stopped shining. To make things even better, fishing has been awesome!
Tony spent some time up in the Canyon on Friday, and Warren landed this huge 8'1" fish
Some of our guides and their families were also camping along the Harrison River for the weekend. They chucked a few flies out, and gave the wives and girlfriends some casting lessons. Everyone had a great time, but didn't manage to find any trout. According to Tony, they were all hiding in the lake for the weekend!
On Saturday evening, the guides and families travelled down to the mouth of the Harrison and threw a couple of sturgeon rods out. The second bite of the evening produced this awesome 7'6" sturgeon, caught by Erv. In the photo below is a real fishing family: younger brother Paul (far right), older brother Mike (second from right) family friend Loren, and father Erv (left).
I think that life is definitely better on the water, no matter what water it is.
