While this Family Day may have been a bit chilly for many people to get out there and wet a line, at least in the morning, it got me thinking about some of my favourite family fishing moments. Fishing has always been right up near the top of the list of my favourite things, thanks to parents who had me out on a boat as soon as they could get a life jacket to fit me.
And to me, family isn't just about blood relatives - it can be the friend you've known since childhood, the "aunt" or "uncle" who is a parent's best friend, even the in-laws! So, in honour of all of the families out there who spend quality time together doing what they love, here are a few of my favourite family photos from this past year:
