Today, February 26, 2014 is Pink Shirt Day in Canada. (side note: I'm not sure if this is something that has caught on in the US? Please let me know either way!) I'm feeling a bit guilty, since I missed the memo and am wearing blue. I would say that you can go ahead and heckle me now, but I think that violates the meaning of the day.
So, instead of wearing pink, I am celebrating Pink by sharing as many Pink photos as I can find in an effort to turn the blog what I am calling "Fisherman's Pink"for the day (since not all Pinks are actually pink...)
The obvious choice for Fisherman's Pink:
Pink Salmon...
...which can be caught on Pink flies....
...by fishermen wearing pink!
This last one may not be a Pink salmon - but it is an angler wearing a Salmon-Pink coloured shirt, while fishing for salmon, and let's be honest: You can't ignore a pun that good!
