October Fishing

Well, summer flew by with salmon galore and fall is showing no signs of slowing down either. The rain we have finally been getting (while dampening spirits for some) has definitely rejuvenated the river systems and we are seeing some gorgeous chrome coho rolling in. But as always, a photo is worth a thousand words.
These guys were just tooooo tired after over an hour of battling this 9'2"
to float it up any higher for photos.

A beauty 7'6" for Masa, Jun, Bill and Josh

A very rotund and super shiny Coho

Don't forget about Chum on the fly! Great sport

and of course more 8' + stugeon

And never to be forgotten...the Cutthroat! Another great species on the fly - they may bite aggressively but can be a challenge to land.
