I got some great photos this morning from guide Jordi, who told me that the first shot of was of the smaller fish, and measured 90" (7 foot 6 inches)
Smaller fish?!?!? yeah. That's right. The smaller fish.
The following photos are of an amazing 10 foot 8 inch sturgeon that they landed yesterday as well. It took approximately two and a half hours for angler Justin, with assistance from friend Adrian and Jordi, to land this incredible fish. (S)he has a rotund 56" girth, and was a virgin sturgeon (had never been tagged before).
What an incredible fish!!
We still have select openings this month, and the sturgeon fishing, as I think you can see, is goooood right now! The forecast is calling for sun all week, so I can't think of a better time to get out on the River.
