2nd annual Harrison Sturgeon Challenge - Day 1

Yesterday was the first day of fishing in the 2nd annual Harrison Sturgeon Challenge, and it certainly started off with well!

The morning was a bit challenging for many teams, but by the afternoon many teams were landing healthy, large sturgeon.

There were 38 fish counted for the tournament overall yesterday, with a good many of them measuring over 200cms.

First Day results are as follows:

Smallest Fish: 99cm landed by John
2nd largest fish: 235cm landed by Kirsten
Largest fish of the day: 241cm landed by Ronnie

The team currently leading for most combined centimeters is the team of Dave, Kirsten and Mike. Their four largest fish (235cm, 211cm, 210cm and 198cm) totalled 854cm. They are followed by Ronnie, John and Frands who have a total of 739cms of fish after day 1.
